Yeosang is a vocalist and dancer of ATEEZ.
He is the most introverted, shy, and reserved member of the group. It’s safe to say he is communally adored and is often doted on by the members.
His emoji is a crown 👑. His Aniteez is a dog named HETmongi.

Yeosang has historically served in more of a traditional visual role, meaning that he’s gotten less lines in songs than the other members. Nevertheless, since debut he’s really blossomed in both his skills and his confidence, and the parts he does get are often memorable. This week we’ll be watching or listening to some real bangers: HALAZIA, Deju Vu, and The Real.
This is another song that likely won’t be performed, but it’s one of their best tracks so here we are. Yeosang is a baritone in essentially a group of tenors, so their songs are often not written with his vocal range in mind. When he is given lower parts though, his deeper register especially stands out in contrast with the other members, and HALAZIA (Dec 2022) ****is a beautiful example of that.
Yeosang delivers a killer pre-chorus here. [I maintain that this is one of the best pre-choruses in all of K-pop and I will die on this tiny hill]. His parts are featured at 1:05 and 2:22, and he’s the center at 2:42.

There are many different interpretations of this song in the lore and its place in the timeline. Undoubtedly, the MV is rich with symbols and hints as to its meaning.
The pre-chorus in particular mentions a bluebird that has lost its voice: 소리를 잃은 작은 파랑새야 (sorireul ileun jageun parangsaeya)
소리를 = voice 잃은 = from 잃다 to lose 작은 = little, small 파랑새야 = 파랑 is blue, 새 is bird
In many cultures bluebirds are signs of hope or harbingers of happiness, so it’s speculated that this video takes place at one of the lowest points of their fight, where many have given up.

Deja Vu was the title track from their mini album ZERO : FEVER Part.3 (Sept 2021). It’s great, the official music video is great; no complaints all around really. But they also released this performance video for Halloween that year and, well, yeah. Everyone looks amazing crushes this performance, but Yeosang in particular fits the Vampire aesthetic so well 🧛. Our pre-chorus king is also back.
He’s at 0:48 (the CAPE WORK 💀), 1:01, 2:02, and 2:18.

The Real was an original song written for and performed on the finale of Kingdom Legendary War (2021). When Mingi returned from hiatus, they also released this amazing MV for it. There’s actually a lot of interesting things happening in this music video, but essentially it’s a song about being true to and confident in yourself, while still holding humbleness and kindness as the most important virtues.
Yeosang is the protagonist here, staying true to his real self whilst uniting the warring factions at the end. He’s featured at 1:46 (the bread 😂), 2:29, 3:19, and 3:48.
